The beta is open

Real rocket engineering, built to meet you wherever you're working.

Rocket Design Lab is a full rocket engineering platform β€” design, simulation, and the complete inventory behind your hobby β€” built fresh for your phone, your tablet, and your browser, not squeezed onto a screen after the fact. This is the start of a new era: the tools finally come to you.

Applications are open now. The beta itself kicks off late September / early October. Phone apps for iOS and Android are next.

What it is

One platform. Every device. Your whole hobby.

Rocket Design Lab is a full rocket engineering platform β€” not a phone app that happens to exist, and not a website bolted on afterward. The design tools, the physics, the feel of using it: every bit has been built and tuned separately for the device in front of you, phone, tablet, or browser, and kept in sync everywhere else.

And design and simulation are only half of it. Rocket Design Lab is also where the rest of your hobby actually lives β€” every motor, every altimeter and tracker, every kit still sitting in the stash β€” tracked in one place instead of scattered across spreadsheets and memory.

Already have a design in OpenRocket or RockSim? Bring it with you. This is genuinely the start of something bigger: the first time rocketry's engineering tools have been built to meet you wherever you're already working, instead of asking you to go find a desk.

Design it β€” full rocket CAD, tailored to phone, tablet, and web
02
Track it β€” every motor, part, and kit in one inventory
03
Fly it β€” simulate it, log it, everywhere you go
Inside the app

What you'll actually use it for

No filler screens. Every piece here earns its place in a real build-and-fly workflow.

πŸ“

Design Lab

Build your rocket visually β€” nose cone to fins to recovery gear β€” on your phone, your tablet, or right in a browser.

⚑

Live physics

Stability and balance update in real time while you design, on whichever device you're holding, so you catch a bad build early.

🎯

Real flight simulation

A genuine simulator predicts how high and how fast your rocket will actually go β€” not a back-of-envelope estimate.

πŸ“‚

Import your work

Bring designs in straight from OpenRocket or RockSim. Your existing library isn't starting over.

πŸ—ƒοΈ

Full inventory

Every motor, altimeter, tracker, and kit still in the stash β€” tracked in one place instead of scattered across spreadsheets.

πŸ“’

Flight logbook

Every rocket, every flight, every result β€” tracked in the same place you designed it, not a separate notebook.

Limited early access

The beta starts late September. Get in before everyone else.

Applications are open now, and the program itself kicks off late September / early October β€” people building, tracking, and flying with Rocket Design Lab before anyone else gets the chance. This is the ground floor of a platform that's going to change what rocketeers expect from their phone, their tablet, and their browser, and we're letting more people in now.
